Rajesh Nambiar, M.D. is an interventional cardiologist who has joined Amarillo Heart Group. Dr. Nambiar’s practice includes Invasive and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Nambiar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Nambiar’s practice will emphasize coronary angioplasty and stenting, right and left heart catheterization, diagnostic coronary angiography, CT angiography, nuclear cardiology, 2D echocardiography, and clinical cardiology.

Dr. Nambiar completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 2005 and his Cardiology Fellowship in 2008. Both training programs were with Stroger Hospital of Cook County (previously known as Cook County Hospital) in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Nambiar served as the Chief Resident and Chief Fellow respectively in these training programs. Dr. Nambiar recently completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Nambiar has completed level II training in Coronary CT Angiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
