JON LUIGI HADDAD, M.D., FACC

Jon Luigi Haddad, M.D. received his undergraduate
degree at Florida International University in Miami, Florida and his Medical Degree from
Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. He completed an
Internship in Internal Medicine at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut. His Residency
in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship were completed at Hospital of Saint Raphael
in New Haven, Connecticut.
During his Residency and Cardiology Fellowship, Dr. Haddad provided Emergency Room
coverage and weekend coverage for a private cardiology group at Hospital of Saint Raphael.
As Chief Medical Resident in Internal Medicine, he served as Faculty Member and Clinical
Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine and Clinical Instructor in a Primary Care
Clinic at Hospital of Saint Raphael.
Dr. Haddad practices lnterventional Cardiology at Amarillo Heart Group. He is a member of
the American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association, American Medical
Association, Potter- Randall County Medical Society, and New Haven County Medical
Association. He is an Affiliate Member of the American College of Cardiology and a
Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Haddad's involvement in research
has lead to publication in 'PACE.'
Special skills include: Temporary and Permanent Pacemaker Implantation; Percutaneous
Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty; lntra-Aortic Balloon Pump Insertion; Swan-Ganz Catheter
Insertion; Cardiac Catheterization; Stent Placement; Directional Coronary Atherectomy;
Exercise Stress Testing; Two-dimensional Echocardiography; Vascular Ultrasound; Nuclear
Medicine.
